Rev. Paul Sponheim
Rev. Paul Sponheim was called be the Discipleship Pastor of Northgate Alliance Church in July of 2003, and assumed his duties at Northgate on September 21, 2003.
Paul has been involved in pastoral ministry since 1998. Initially he served as one of the founding pastors of Living Word Alliance Church in West Milford, New Jersey. Then, in the fall of 1999, he was called to serve as the Pastor of Risen King Community Church in Weskan, Kansas. He served there until coming to Northgate. In addition to pastoring, Paul also serves as an assistant high school track coach and the Eastern Iowa Thriving Church Network Director for the MidAmerica District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Paul is a graduate of Crown College (1993) and received a Masters of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary (1998).
Paul and his wife, Cindy, have been married since 1993 and have three children: Isaac (born in 1999), Laurel (born in 2002), and Joshua (born in 2004).
